Improved Processes and Information Sharing

Integrity is demonstrated through actions. I will support efforts to improve communication, organization, and access to financial information. When systems are unavailable or information is difficult to locate, our fiscal teams still need practical ways to remain organized and prepared. I will lead strategic discussions that help improve efficiency and overall financial operations in the Red Zone. This includes reinforcing strong financial controls, such as proper authorization practices, dual signatures, and adherence to established cash handling procedures and providing guidance and
reminders around required financial protection, including bonding and insurance coverage that safeguard our chapters, as well as promoting readiness for internal and external audits to ensure compliance. I will encourage the use of standard templates, reporting tools, calendars, and resource guides that help fiscal officers maintain accurate records and timely reports, including adherence to proper deposit timelines, documentation, and timely submission of required funds and reports.

Additionally, I will offer:

  • Clear Expectations and Accountability Standards – to ensure that financial officers understand what is required, when it is due, and how to meet expectations;

  • Ethical Guidance and Sound Decision Support – to serve as a trusted resource to help navigate questions with fairness, discretion, and adherence to policies, ensuring decisions reflect both integrity and organizational standards;

  • Consistency in Communication and Follow-Through – will communicate honestly, follow through on commitments, and provide dependable guidance so that chapters know they can rely on the information and support they receive, including supporting smooth transitions between outgoing and incoming fiscal officers

leadership. My goal is to help chapters build confidence in their financial processes
while protecting the integrity and sustainability of our beloved Sisterhood.
